today is
gonna be
the day

Today is the day I challenge you to jump and encourage you to think bigger. I am here to show you the magic outside of your comfort zone and wingman you in doing what needs to be done.
I got you.

The approach

Keep on rockin’ in the pain-free world

“Enjoy your body. Use it every way you can. Don't be afraid of it or of what other people think of it. It's the greatest instrument you'll ever own.” (Mary Schmich)

Your body is made to move and take you places. Explore what your body is capable of: take it out for a spin, make it work for you. To enjoy it as long as possible, give it some love and care along the way. And yes, you will collect some dents and make a few missteps while living out loud. For that reason Seb's goal is to make sure your body's foundation and framework is optimally aligned and built like a house - able to withstand a collision or two.

When assessing your body for misalignments, weaknesses and movement restrictions, we look for the root cause, instead of just managing the symptoms. From there, we can make better decisions and be intentional which route to take -  what to do more of, what to avoid, and how to create a training program built for your body.

Sure, throw enough mud at a wall and some of it will stick. But when you are ready to be a rebel with a cause, hit me up.

What I coach

what do you
want from me?

have a look in my toolkit

  • Breathing, core tension, stance, understanding the basics: how to use the gym equipment, how to do it properly and when to use which for what purpose. Over the years I have done all the trials and errors — so you don’t have to.

  • Real strength training is not sexy nor flashy, yet it’s the framework for almost everything else. Often, strength training is being confused with skill training, you know, the sexy stuff. The distinction lies in developing your body versus using your body to develop something else. Proper strength training is about training the body directly, being able to produce force, to create tension, the ability to accelerate and decelerate, being strong in the whole range of motion and in any position.

  • This method is a hands-on way to address misalignments that are causing pain and imbalanced movements. Through specific exercises we aim to restore your optimal prime position, get you pain-free, keep you injury-free and prepare you for your true athletic performance.

  • The Kettlebell is one of the most versatile pieces of equipment in the gym. Use them for lifting, to work on your strength and mobility. Use them for their ballistic properties to improve your speed and power

  • Quadrupedal movement, ground-based locomotions, flow and primal patterns. Build full body mobility, coordination and joint control across different positions, directions, speeds and ranges of motion.

  • Is what this specific style of Olympic Weightlifting, focuses on. Because of this, it often requires more precise technique and positional control. In return, it offers a broad framework that can be adapted to different body proportions and athletic profiles, rather than relying on one fixed technique for everyone.

  • Girevoy is Russian for kettlebell. Kettlebell Sport - consisting of three lifts (Jerk, Snatch, Long Cycle) each aiming for a continuous set of 10 minutes without setting the kettlebell down. To get through a set like this you need a combination of relaxed technique and a whole lot of perseverance. With this sport you are building strength-endurance while keeping prolonged power output. These attributes could transfer to other sports that would benefit from these qualities as well. This is my expertise — hundreds of hours of coaching and competition behind it.

  • Training in the gym is the opposite of an obstacle course race; a controlled, safe and predictable environment versus being subjected to the elements challenging your toughness and problem-solving abilities. A perfect storm versus a…well, shit storm. Get ready for an Obstacle Course Race with Seb. Strongman carries, climbing, crawling, explosive running and obstacle-specific drills so race day feels like training, not survival.

  • a training laboratory. A group class where all the tools come together and combine throwing, jumping, twisting, pulling, pushing, crawling and sprinting. Explore what your body can do. Join us Friday 30 October at 12:00PM

  • We are a Berlin collective and community for outdoor activities and small-scale events with an active undertone. Train, move and connect with people who show up.
